The Merrill Lynch Swim Clinics are designed to teach you swimming techniques and prepare you for race day. Triathlon swim coaches will be there to guide you and ensure your safety. The Malibu Triathlon is closely monitoring all local COVID-19 guidelines and has the right to cancel the swim clinics at any time.

Who can participate?
The Merrill Lynch Swim Clinic Series is open to all fundraisers who have raised a minimum of $350. Friends and family can't participate in the clinics unless they are registered with your corporate team. To qualify for registration, your fundraising page must show the $350 or more by 3:00 p.m. on the Friday prior to each Saturday clinic.
Registering for the Swim Clinics
Qualifying participants will be sent a link to register for the swim clinics. Please note that a USAT fee of $15 applies during registration for the swim clinics for non-annual USAT members. Only one USAT fee is required per person per swim clinic series.
What time should you arrive?
Please arrive no later than 7:15 a.m. to ensure you have time to change into your wetsuit. Check-in closes at 7:20 a.m. Any arrivals after this time will not be allowed to swim. The clinic will start promptly at 7:30 a.m
Where are the clinics?
Open water clinics will take place at Zuma Beach Lifeguard Tower #10.
What should you bring?
Goggles: These will be important to see in the water.
Wetsuit: The water is pretty chilly so we recommend you bring a wetsuit.
Change of clothes, towel, sunscreen, etc.
