Welcome!

We are participating in the Long Beach Legacy Triathlon in honor of sweet angel Lexi Lee Walker, who spent most of her life battling cancer at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Funds raised as a part of this race direclty support pediatric cancer research at CHLA so that kids can have safer and more effective treatment options to win their battles against this horrible disease.

During Lexi's 3-year battle, her oncologist developed new and innovative treatments for her when nothing else seemed to work. The new treatments were actually working to destroy the cancer, but the harshness of prior standard treatments had already taken their toll on her little body and were ultimately the cause of her death. The innovation and science for better treatments are here, but funding is necessary to move them forward to become available for the kids who need them.
