As a pediatric oncologist, physician-scientist and Director of the Cancer and Blood Disease Institute at CHLA, I see every day the toll that cancer takes on children and their families. I also see the tremendous importance of research to fuel the next generation of faster, safer and more effective treatments for children living with cancer. That's why I'm proud to participate in the Long Beach Legacy Triathlon, raising funds for pediatric cancer research at CHLA.
