On November 7th, I will be running in the 2021 Los Angeles Marathon. This will be my first marathon and I am participating to raise money and awareness for Children's Hospital Los Angeles.  From the broken bones for my oldest son to the 3 life saving heart surgeries and continuing care for my youngest, CHLA has been an integral part of our lives for the past 8 years.  Considering that CHLA has seen over 600,000 patients in the past year, there's a good chance if you live in Southern California that your family or someone close to you has also received care for a child at CHLA recently.
