Few words can describe how profoundly grateful we are to the community who has held us and supported our family through the loss of our son George. We would like to share our sincerest appreciation for your generous gift to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in memory of George, and in honor of our daughter Lily.

We knew continuing his loving heart by donating to CHLA in support of his twin sister and all the incredible work they do is what George would have wanted. CHLA is a top-ranked pediatric hospital, but to us, it is the place that has cared for Lily’s heart her whole life. In that spirit, your gift will support Dr. Yaniv Bar-Cohen’s work in Pediatric Electrophysiology in the Heart Institute at CHLA. Dr. Bar-Cohen has been a pillar for our family, and we know firsthand the impact his compassionate care has on his patients.

We are truly speechless by the selfless generosity of our friends and families during this difficult time. Your kind and thoughtful support will make a world of a difference in the lives of the children and families at the Heart Institute, and it has been a source of strength for our family. George had the sweetest heart, and CHLA has always cared for Lily’s. Thanks to the generous gift you made in their honor, many more little hearts will be taken care of too. George would be proud.
