Important Event Information

Parking

Parking will be provided for registered participants at the event location free of charge! Please park in Beach Parking Lot 1 North (GPS Address: 1550 Appian Way, Santa Monica, CA 90401). This is the lot adjacent to the Pier on the north side. Registered guests must arrive no later than 10:00 a.m. to receive their parking pass. Let the booth attendant know you’re here for the CHLA Walk & Play L.A. event. You will receive a parking pass to place on your dashboard. Please note that ongoing construction on the Pier has changed the parking layout. We recommend allowing extra time for both arrival and departure.

Transportation

Participants may get to Walk & Play L.A. on the Metro. Take the Metro E Line (Expo) to the Downtown Santa Monica Station. The station is approximately a 10-minute walk (1/2 mile) to the Pier. For more information, visit www.metro.net.

Feel free to use Lyft or Uber to travel to the event. Set your destination to Lot 1 South - 1640 Appian Way, Santa Monica, CA 90401 to be dropped off by the Pier.

Security

The pier deck will be sectioned off exclusively for the event with security officers around the perimeter. A wristband will be required to enter the event. No bag check will be required.
